Welcome to the Shadow Saloon! This is a party game for your group – you play together through the browser, everyone on their own device. Nothing needs to be installed. This guide calmly explains what you can do.

What is Shadow Saloon?

Shadow Saloon is a collection of many small games for groups – from quick party guessing games to card classics and board games. You gather in a shared "room" – called a lobby – and then play a round together. With an account, up to ten people can join at the same time; without an account (as a guest) the maximum is four by default.

All you need is a browser (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge) and an internet connection. Phone, tablet or computer – anything works.

Quick start: get going in three steps

1. Open the site. Go to the address you were given. You land on the start page.
2. Join in or open your own.
   • If someone sent you a code or a link, use "Join lobby" and enter the code – or just click the link.
   • If you are starting the round, pick a game and open your own lobby. You then pass the code you get on to your fellow players.
3. Play. Once everyone is there, the person who opened the lobby (the host) starts the game.
