Big Mouths
🎯 Goal: Have the most points at the end.
🗯 Big Mouth: Two rounds and a final. In each round everyone writes an answer to two prompts, and each prompt goes to exactly one other player too. Then the duels come one by one: two answers without names, everyone else has 20 seconds to vote for the better one. The two authors do not vote in their own duel.
🎤 Final: One prompt for everyone. Everyone has three votes and may put them all on one answer, just not their own. 3000 points by share of the votes.
🤐 Special cases: If an answer is missing, the other wins without a fight (1000 + 100, double in round 2). The same answer twice is a “Jinx!” — nobody scores. Whoever does not vote does not count. Offensive text is refused: “Please put it differently.”
🐍 Snake Oil: In turn, one player chooses a question with a gap from five titles. Everyone writes a lie for it, then everyone picks among all the lies and the truth, just not their own lie. The truth brings 1000 points, everyone who falls for your lie 500 – falling for one costs nothing. Equal lies stand once, and both authors get the full points. “Lie for me” takes a decoy for half the points. Whoever looks at the decoys is bound to them. Round 2 counts double, the final – one question without a choice – triple.
Settings & scoring
🏆 Points: A duel shares 1000 points by share of the votes. Whoever has more votes gets 100 on top; with every vote (at least two) it is 250 instead — “Clean Sweep!”. Round 2 counts double.
⚙ Settings: Writing time 60, 90 or 120 seconds; in Snake Oil 2, 3 or 4 questions per round; the language of the content; an own set instead of the library (account → Big Mouths sets) — then the game does not count for statistics and the leaderboard.
