Quiz Rodeo: game rules

🎯 Goal: A show of changing rounds without a host. Whoever is last on top in the showdown wins – the points before it only set how high everyone starts.

🗺️ Course of play: “Short” has 4 rounds, “Long” 7 (6 from five players on). The Point Collector opens, the showdown closes, the draw decides in between. Every round starts with a title card and ends with the standings; every question has 15 seconds. Points never drop below 0.

💰 Point Collector: Six questions, every right answer 250 points – speed does not count.

🔫 Fastest Gun: Six questions. Right answers count by speed: 400, 300, 200, from the fourth on 100 each.

🧨 Stick of Dynamite: Three sticks. Only whoever holds the stick answers; a right answer passes it to the next at the table, a wrong one or silence keeps it. The hidden fuse lasts 20 to 45 seconds and burns only while a question is open; after three misses in a row it goes off at once. Whoever holds it at the bang loses 300 points. Not drawn from five players on.

🐄 Cattle Rustling: Six questions. The first right answer picks an opponent within 6 seconds and takes 300 points from them – without a pick it hits the leader. Whoever answers wrong sits out the next question.

🍅 Tomato Toss: The first right answer throws a tomato at an opponent (without a pick it flies at random); two hits and you are out. It goes on until one is left, 25 questions at most. Points by place: 1000, 500, 250, 0 – with three 1000, 500, 0, with two 1000, 0. Wrong means sitting out. Not drawn from five players on.

🃏 Poker Round: Four questions. First the topic is shown, then everyone stakes 50, 100, 250 or 500 points within 10 seconds (50 without a pick). Right wins the stake, wrong or no answer loses it.

🎵 Jukebox: Six snippets of top hits – German and English ones with German questions, otherwise English ones only: whoever names the title gets 250 points. The round is only drawn when there are enough top hits.

⏳ Showdown: Everyone stands on a podium, the starting height follows the points (20 to 100). The podiums sink while a question is open, faster with every question. The fastest right answer lifts by 12, other right answers stop it until the next question, wrong lowers by 8. Whoever reaches the ground is out; the last one on top wins – after 25 questions the highest podium.
